HDR Background Radar is a specialised software used by the rugged HDT320 terminal and the 79GHz Millimetre Wave Radar OSA-79G-AL for collision prevention. With the ability to differentiate distances and assign different warning sounds associated with each specified distance range, it is possible to utilise the 80dB capable speaker installed in the HDT320 for an effective in-vehicle auditory warning system. Functions in virtually any weather condition even in poor visibility cases such as a dust storm or heavy rain.

Configurable Distance Range
With the ability to configure 3 tiered detection range, short, medium and long range, between 1 m and 30 m in length, there is a setting to suit every workplace situation.
Usable Under Harsh Weather
Using mm-wave radio waves at 20～300GHz, that is not affected in adverse weather conditions like strong sunlight, fog, rain or even dust storm.
Loud Speaker and Warning Lights
Equipped with an 80dB speaker and LED Lights, the HDT320 is more than capable of warning the driver and even nearby personnel of the imminent danger. Assigning different sound and lights to each distance range will provide a much more effective feedback.
Easy Setup and Settings
Maximum Distance Setting
Set the detection range in 1m increment up to 30m
※Humanoid detection up to 10m
Set Distance Tier Warning
Set up to 3 distance warning tiers (Close, Medium, Far)
Set Tier Range
The previous 3 tiers can be customised in 0.1m increment. Default being F at 10m, M at 5m, C at 3m
Set Detection Width
The detection area width can also be adjusted in 0.5m increment measured from the centre. Increasing by 1m would mean 1m left AND right, a total of 2m.
Simple Assembly
Only requires CAN Serial connection between HDT320 and OSA-79G-AL Sensor.
