The A8500U is a specialised compact receiver used to receive GNSS Correction Data to support RTK Positioning. Paired with an RTK-GNSS receiver to receive correction data from a nearby base station wirelessly for cm-level RTK Positioning. The A8500U is specially built by us to function with Sunshine Techno Wireless Transceiver Model U7000UJC181.

The A8500U along with its accessories is a lighter and smaller replacement to the traditional U7000UJC181 as a wireless receiver. A8500U is designed to function with multiple form of power delivery with it’s wide power acceptance range (9V～35V), making it compatible with a wide range of battery and power delivery system.

System Overview

A8500U is attached to a rover station to receive GNSS Correction Data from a Base Station equipped with a wireless transceiver（U7000UJC181）providing wireless correction data in poor signal/poor network infrastructure areas.

※The wireless transmission frequency used is not stipulated under Transmission Laws, hence it requires no licence and can be used by anyone with minimal paperwork.
