KIGIS IVIEW+ AI camera for heavy machinery
Product Summary
- NEW
IVIEW+ is a safety support system that utilises AI cameras to detect people and alert heavy vehicle drivers of nearby pedestrians. IVIEW+ uses AI to assist heavy machinery operators by detecting nearby pedestrians in real time, alerting both the operator and pedestrian via sound.
Features
IVIEW+ Main Features
- Maximum of 4 Simultaneous AI Camera Operation
- 7-Inch Monitor
- 92 dB Loud Speaker
Usage Overview
Installing up to 4 AI Cameras in strategic locations around heavy equipment to monitor the area surrounding the operator, giving valuable blindsight insights. The information is then relayed to the mounted display inside the cab and with the possibility of installing a siren system to audibly warn both the operator and the worker nearby.
Using AI for Recognition
IVIEW+ uses data streamed from AI Camera to detect workers that might be in the way of dangerous operations such as heavy machinery operations. It is possible to adjust the recognition distance by changing the recognition box size in the settings.
Recognition Algorithm
IVIEW+ have the ability to determine the worker’s current situation, such as whether the worker is currently carrying boxes, coming out of a corner or crouched.
Maximum of 4 Camera Connections
With 2 standard and 4 maximum cameras, it is possible to see from multiple angles to help mitigate the limited viewing angle of the operator, preventing accidents caused by the operator’s blindsight.
There is an option to automatically switch the viewing camera when the operator is reversing.
Increase Safety Efforts
The above data shows the yearly reported injuries and death due to forklift accidents in Japan. As you can see, the number of injuries have recently only been increasing with 2022 boasting the highest death rate for the past 5 year.
The above graph breaks down the cause of the accidents derived from the same data set as previous. Although injury caused by pinching and direct hit made up 62.8% of the data, only 39.4% of total death by forklift was caused by pinching and direct hit. While on the other hand, injuries caused by trips and falls made up only 17.7% of total injuries but 37.9% of total death, making injuries due to trip and fall as a leading cause of death in forklift accidents.
Robust Use-Case
Built to be easily integrated into many vehicles, IVIEW+ System can be installed on Forklift, shovel car, Loader and more with use cases ranging from warehouse and port logistics to construction and mining.
