Start by scanning the cargo using the handheld LiDAR Device and proceed to do a single lap around the cargo. Once done, the 3D volumetric data points (Point Cloud) can then be exported to a PC via USB where calculation can begin.

1-Man Operation


  
LiSm³ utilises a handy hand-held device to quickly take volumetric data with a single round scan that takes approximately 1 minute to do without having to step foot on the cargo.
Comparatively, the traditional method of measurement is done manually by using measuring tapes and poles, giving room for errors and increasing the risk of injuries due to carelessness or sudden movements.

Get Quick and Reliable Results​


  
Long gone from the days of using pen and paper to calculate the weight of the cargo, LiSm³ outputs a LAS data set where it can be used to determine the volume of the cargo quickly by connecting to a PC via USB and inputting some parameters.

Since LAS Data is a coordinate, calibration is done using the mouse at an average calibration time of 5 minutes
