LRWarning utilises 77GHz Millimetre Wave Radar for detecting oncoming cars. Primarily used during road construction, LRWarning provides early warning for operators before exiting into traffic. Colour coded warning systems provide a quick and easy way to assess the situation before the driver exits the worksite.

LRWarning Merit​

Mitigate human error and streamline the worksite by reducing the number of workers required on site. In a busy working environment, it can be hard to keep track of even the most basic tasks, and under pressure, it is not impossible for a driver to forget to check their blind sight or for a traffic safety officer to give unclear signals. The LRWarning system will directly inform the driver via warning lights of oncoming traffic in differing colours to visually indicate oncoming traffic distance.

System Overview

Instal 2 radars behind the worksite to detect oncoming traffic. The information from the radar is relayed wirelessly to a warning light, giving distance alerts of oncoming traffic at a glance.
※Line of Sight must be available for wireless transmitter to function

　
For example, on the worksite entry/exit point, a tri-colour traffic light is connected wirelessly and depending on the distance, the light will show either Green (No Cars), Yellow (Point A@500 m), Red (Point B@250m).
※In the event that an error has occurred, all colours will turn on and off​

The data gathered from the detector will be sent wirelessly to the receiver, which is attached to a warning system with multi-coloured lights and speakers.

Usable Under Harsh Weather

Using mm-wave radio waves at 20～300GHz, systems utilising mm-wave radar is not affected in adverse weather conditions like strong sunlight, fog, rain or even snow.
